MR. BROWN'S RESTAURANT

Part of an 1800’s Victorian manor house that got converted over the years, Mr. Brown’s is a newly refurbished restaurant within The Victoria Hotel and a quality yet affordable dining option in the area. Using only the finest ingredients on the menu, our produce is sourced locally from across the Pennines.

Mr. Brown’s offers a selection of menus, from an extensive hearty breakfast and an inclusive daily lunch, to a traditional Sunday lunch and a full à la carte menu which is unashamedly British with some favourites from around the globe. Why not enjoy Mr. Brown’s afternoon tea while relaxing in our amazingly tranquil atmosphere created by a 440 gallon marine fish tank as a stunning backdrop?

Bringing something fresh and vibrant to the heart of the North West, our hotel’s atmosphere is enhanced with real Victorian chic.

Great Coffee… From Espresso and Americano to Cappuccino, Latte and Mocha, we pride ourselves on serving great coffee. Some of our guests travel from around the North West just to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in a relaxed atmosphere paired up with professional service - we think that speaks louder than any recommendation. We only use real coffee beans and our milk based drinks can be made with semi skimmed, skimmed or soya milk.

Great Afternoon Tea… Our famous Afternoon Tea is served with homemade scones, cakes, jams and relishes, and a choice of fresh Rington’s loose tea leaves, to ensure that perfect fusion.

Great Food… Freshly filled Panini and sandwiches as well as tempting bar snacks, homemade soup, pastries and cakes are the reason many of our guests keep coming back for more.

Great Drinks… The fully licensed lounge is an ideal venue for either business or pleasure. Offering an extensive array of malt whiskeys, vodkas, rums and wines, the cocktail menu serves up both old favourites and some new surprises.
